* CONVERGENCE Visual Culture Colloquium Program and Keynote Address: October 3 & 4, 2014 at Willamette University
It is with great pleasure that we, the Visual Culture Colloquium Committee, share with you the program for our inaugural event that will be held at Willamette University this October 3 & 4. Students and scholars from the five campuses are invited to participate in an interdisciplinary exchange about issues of visual representation and visual communication. We understand visual culture broadly to encompass work in any discipline that examines or uses forms of visual representation in teaching, research or scholarship. Please see the attached program and keynote address abstract for more information and direct your queries to our lead organizer at Willamette, Professor Anna Cox (firstname.lastname@example.org | (503) 370-6070).
In this jointly-run course--an NW5C pilot--students live and study across the Northwest, with stopovers at three colleges: Whitman College, University of Puget Sound, and Willamette University. The three-week course starts July 26th and is the first for-credit offering from the consortium partnership. More information can be found below.
